Brief: The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was summoned to put out a fire which originated from the master bedroom of a 2nd floor unit of Leedon Residence. Witnesses at the scene spoke about smoke rising to the 7th or 8th floor of the apartment block, and the force of the heat causing the window of that unit to explode. Residents were evacuated and waiting downstairs an hour after the call to SCDF. The cause of fire is still under investigation.

Are there proper fire safety procedures adopted at your condo? Is your security personnel aware of what to do in the event of such fires? Is your condo insured adequately for such incidences?
